Emergency Medical System Program records, 1975-1984.

The EMS Program was involved with the implementation of an EMS system in the Twin Cities Metropolitan area, and began in 1976. It was supported entirely with federal funds, primarily through the Health, Education, and Welfare/Health and Human Services Dept. Its records consist largely of minutes and agenda materials from committees and advisory groups, action plans, grant files, consultants' reports, and topical files of background and study data.
